Furthermore, Jammu and Kashmir handicrafts have proven to be highly lucrative products in local, domestic and international markets. However, the sector is in great need of passionate, determined youth entrepreneurs to take Jammu and Kashmir handicrafts to new heights. Jammu and Kashmir handicrafts are rare treasures due to their aesthetically pleasing, often handmade craftsmanship. Also, they are sourced from organic raw materials such as cotton, silk, wool and wood making them even more unique in the international market.
