Popis: | The main objective of the distribution and transport grids is to transport the electricity to the end users with efficiency, quality and reliability, which requires to minimizing the energy losses. Because the electricity is produced outside the consumption points, it involves the existence of long-distance transport and distribute lines. To solve the problem regarding the reactive power flow, an active power filter (APF) mounted on the low voltage side is suggested to be used in this paper. This solution is exemplified for consumers connected to medium voltage grid and where the connection point is situated at long distances. |
