Popis: | Sansibia Alderslade, 2000 Diagnosis. Xeniidae with non-retractile polyps arising directly from a spreading membrane or ribbon-like stolons. Polyps monomorphic. Sclerites are abundant and present as ellipsoid platelets, some with a waist-like median narrowing. The sclerites reveal a dendritic surface microstructure. Colonies harbor symbiotic unicellular algae. Type species: Sansibia flava (May, 1898).
