| Popis: | A case is presented, with postmortem findings, of cholangiolitic cirrhosis characterized by protracted intrahepatic biliary tract obstruction and associated with hypercholesterolemia, xanthomatosis and atheromatosis. While the clinical picture was that of xanthomatous biliary cirrhosis, the sequence of events does not indicate a primary disturbance in lipid metabolism with secondary liver disease. The cause of the liver disease was not established. |
