Popis:	Purpose: Pneumatic dilation (PD) is a widely used treatment modality in achalasia patients. Data are sparse describing the long-term outcome of PD. We have previously published our experience (Katz PO et al. Dig Dis Sci 43(9): 1973–7) in 72 patients followed for a mean of 6.5 years. Longer-term follow-up was acquired.
