Popis: | Through this study, the author aimed to carry out an analysis on the application of the criteria of the Global Council for Sustainable Tourism to identify the perspective of assigning the status of sustainable destination to tourist destinations. Applying the methods of synthesis, comparison, deduction, the author analyzed the concept of tourist destination, sustainable tourist destination and presented the destinations that already have the status of sustainable destinations, reaching the conclusion that there is unanimity of opinion regarding the concept of destination and sustainable destination.
