Popis: The Processes driving Exchange At Cape Hatteras (PEACH) project aimed to identify the processes that control the exchange of waters between the shelves along the eastern seaboard of the US and the open ocean. By design, PEACH focused on the shelf waters that flow southward from the Middle Atlantic Bight (MAB) and northward from the Southern Atlantic Bight (SAB) that converge near Diamond Shoals. This report focuses on the moored aspects of PEACH. It describes the data processing, quality control, and graphical products of velocity profiles, water temperature and salinity, and meteorological data from moorings gathered during the PEACH field phase. The moored results provide insight into the movement of different water masses throughout the PEACH array in context with seasonal variations and several storm events.
