Popis: The accessibility of the health service is often criticized by patients whose clinical or geographical conditions make their transfer to health facilities problematic. This paper shows how the use of technology can help individual to exercise their right to healthcare by offering healthcare services that lead to an improved quality life for the patient. A prototype of a mobile tele-auscultation solution developed in this study could meet this need and relieve the patient from the burden of having to reach the appropriate health facilities to undergo a specialist examination. Patients equipped with an electronic stethoscope can self-monitor their health in any place and can start a live tele-auscultation session with a remote doctor.
