Popis: | Posterior dislocation of the long head of the biceps tendon uncommonly occurs with traumatic shoulder injury. The diagnosis is almost always associated with anterior shoulder dislocation which often cannot be reduced. We present a case of traumatic posterior dislocation of the long head of the biceps tendon with no reported history of shoulder dislocation, but instead a rare and specific radiographic finding. The imaging features are described, the relevant literature reviewed, and salient features discussed. |
