Traditional existentialism is in consonance with Christianity which propagates the ideology that God is a part and parcel of humanity and essential for our existence. Apparently modern thinkers of existentialism do not abide by this principle and are considered as atheists. The controversy between modernism and traditionalism has been highly debated. The demarcation between them has been brought into deem light in this paper by highlighting the views of staunch thinkers such as, Kierkegaard, Jaspers and Heidegger. |
