| Popis: | * inermis Redtenbacher, 1906: 68 (Canuleius) 2 ST: 1 �� & 1 �� [BRAZIL], Theresopolis. There are 15 additional syntypes (6 ��, 1 �� juv., 5 �� & 3 �� juv.) in NHMW (4 ��, 1 �� juv., 2 �� & 1 �� juv.) and ZMUH (2 ��, 3 �� & 2 �� juv). Not traced in ZMHB. = Canuleius inermis Redtenbacher, 1906 (Heteronemiidae: Heteronemiinae: Pygirhynchini) * inquinatus Redtenbacher, 1908: 498 (Asceles) 8 probable PLT: 8 �� [MALAYSIA] ���Borneo���, Kina��Balu, ex. Heyne coll. [one clearly belongs to a different species]. The �� lectotype is in NHMW. There are 6 additional paralectotypes (4 �� & 2 ��) in NHMW.
