Popis: | 65. Haemaphysalis humerosa Warburton & Nuttall, 1909. Australasian: 1) Australia, 2) Papua New Guinea (Roberts 1970, Owen 2011). Ernieenor et al. (2017) allegedly found this tick in Malaysia, but molecular differences with bona fide specimens of Haemaphysalis humerosa indicate that the Malaysian specimens represent another species (Petney et al. 2019), and this country is excluded from its range. Egan et al. (2020) found that more than one species may exist under the name Haemaphysalis humerosa.
