Popis: | Siamese kittens were reared with monocular eyelid suture and single units were recorded in area 17 contralateral to the deprived eye. Response properties of these units were compared with units studied in normally reared Siamese cats. Eyelid suture had little if any effect on the development of specific cortical response properties in Siamese cats. |
