Popis: | A 54-year-old emmetropic woman presented with a 3-day history of bilateral blurred vision and eye pain. Because of headaches of 3 months' duration, she underwent a neurologic examination, including com puted tomography and magnetic resonance imaging of the brain; the scans were completely normal. Two months earlier she had started oral therapy with paroxetine, 20 mg/d, for the treatment of depression. She was taking no other medications. Her ocular history was unremarkable. At examination her visual acuity was 6/60 in both eyes. Slit-lamp examination showed bilateral diffuse corneal epithelial edema, with no evidence of intraocular inflammation.
