Popis: | The treatment of early breast cancer using breast conservation therapy (BCT) commonly ensures local control and acceptable cosmetic results. We herein report a useful technique for obtaining symmetry of the breast shape and a level inframammary line and nipple-areola that achieved excellent results. Four Japanese patients with early breast cancer located on the upper inner area of the breast were enrolled into this study. De-epithelialized skin close to the resected area and skin from the epigastric area with subdermal fatty tissue were moved to repair the defect. Oncoplastic breast surgery (OBS) combining partial mastectomy with the V-rotation mammoplasty technique was useful for patients with breast cancer on the upper inner area of minimal ptotic breasts. |
