Popis:	"Have a Heart: Experimentation, Empathy, and the Frankenstein Complex," was an invited talk given as part of the public humanities series at Slippery Rock University, Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, on March 22, 2018. This paper discusses the evolution of the character Victor Frankenstein from Mary Shelley's 1818 novel, Frankenstein, through film and media ending with the Showtime series Penny Dreadful (2014-2016).
