Popis: | Summary Regrowth of a benign melanocytic naevus at the dermo-epidermal junction following inadequate excision has been shown to produce cellular atypia resembling a dysplastic naevus or a superficial spreading melanoma. The term “pseudomelanoma” has been used to identify this process, as the lesion behaves in a benign fashion. In this case naevi of this type recurred in a split skin donor site. The graft was required to repair the defect following excision of a true melanoma which subsequently developed metastases. |
