Popis: | Five female infants with a persistent cloaca are presented with a review of previous case reports.The high incidence of associated anomalies (especially urologic and genital) is noted.The use of excretory urography and retrograde contrast study (cloacogram) in defining the anatomic abnormalities present is described and illustrated.The importance of the diagnosis and treatment of urologic abnormalities in these patients is emphasized. |
