Popis: | It is generally assumed that artists are mostly introverted. In order to find out if they are also neurotic 50 gifted and 50 ungifted art students were tested with the Maudsley Personality Inventory. The results showed a clear tendency toward introversion and neuroticism for the gifted group. The mean scores of the ungifted group, on the contrary, were in the vicinity of normality. Next, out of the gifted group 15 highly gifted Ss were selected. Their mean scores on introversion and neuroricism were markedly higher than those of the 35 less gifted Ss. |
