Presentation given as a webinar for the Nutrigenomics association. The FAIR principles are often seen as an obligation that funding organisations place on research, to satisfy their wish that the data that is collected on their money provides the most societal value. In this webinar we will turn this burden into a benefit by using FAIR to guide data management decisions from the start of the project. We will argue that this can save a lot more time than it costs, and strongly reduces time needed to publish the data at the end of a project. We will show the first steps any project can take towards more FAIR data, and introduce the Data Stewardship Wizard as a tool to explore more options. There will also be ample time for questions and discussion. What does FAIR mean to you? |
