Assuming that attention is a component of the mental capacity, along with others, which encourages/restricts the athletic performance in judo two observational assessment tools were built to capture the level of expression of the distributivy of attention and of the capa city of concentration in the conditions of the specific competitional effort. In parallel, we used five psychological tests, approved and standardized measuring the levels of attention in laboratory settings. The analysis of the results confirms the formulated hypothesis and validates the assessment tools, designed to identify the contribution od the attention capacity shown by this group of athletes in achieving sport performance. |
