Popis: | 171. Haemaphysalis wellingtoni Nuttall and Warburton, 1908. An Australasian and Oriental species, all of whose parasitic stages are usually found on Galliformes: Phasianidae, with some records from Mammalia (several orders), and Aves (several orders). Haemaphysalis wellingtoni is a very rare parasite of humans.
