On 19 December 2022, the HSbooster.eu project organised a 90-minute webinar on "Advancing AI regulation through Standardisation" to provide an exhaustive overview of the current agenda of the European Commission on theartificial intelligence(AI)field and different standpoints on the role of AIin Standardisation. The webinar is divided into two main parts. The first part involves presentations from the Policy & Legal Officer "AI Policy Development & Coordination from the European Commission - DG CNECT, followed by standardisation experts from VDE, HGBS/Access Austria, and Black Swan LUX. Lastly, EU-funded projects, such as KITT4SEand Stand4EU, showcasehow they are leveraging standards in software development initiatives.The final session involves panellists discussing howstandards are playing a vital role to help improve data quality in AI and with correlated needs, gaps, and challenges. |
