Popis: The study investigated the current state of gerontological instruction in entry-level physical therapy education. Four educational needs relating to content inclusion and emphasis, clinical experience, and instruction time were identified through a needs assessment. Additional investigation into the clarity and specificity of educational objectives guiding clinical instruction is needed. Strategies to remediate noted curricular inadequacies are suggested.
