| Popis: | This article concentrates on the "High-Capacity Autonomous Bus Operations" Pilot within the PAsCAL project. The pilot demonstrated that the acceptance by passengers of automated buses without a driver on board does not only concern the perceived safety of the vehicle (risk accident), but also the personal safety of passengers (risk of crime): Moreover it also evidenced the special requirements to be considered for passengers with disabilities, who will need additional forms of communication with the bus and measures such as the extension of parking times at stops.
