Popis: | We read with interest the paper by Bos et al 1 ‘The Accident and Emergency (A&E) department questionnaire: a measure of patient experiences in the A&E department’. Clearly feedback is important in patient-centred care so that comparisons between departments and improvements can be made. We would like to congratulate the authors on their findings and offer some constructive criticism on the analysis. The article analysed three different methods of grouping and summarising the items on the questionnaire presented to patients, and came to the conclusion that Principal Components Analysis provided the best score reliability.
