To report a case of an isolated tarsal fibroma.Case report. Excisional biopsy and histopathological evaluation were performed on a solid lesion originating from the tarsal conjunctival surface of an upper eyelid.Histopathological evaluation, including positive trichrome stains, was consistent with fibroma of the left upper tarsus. No recurrence has developed after a follow-up interval of a year.Tarsal fibroma is a rare condition that should be considered in the differential diagnosis of tarsal lesions. |
