Popis: Competitiveness has been at the center of political and economic debates in recent years due to the desire to increase it and the need to measure it. The goal of this research is to design a methodology for analyzing business competitiveness internally in organizations of Plastics sector of Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM), based on the organizational subsystems proposed by Costa (2007): management, labor, machinery, marketing, materials, environment, physical environment, message, money and methods, which are called 10M's. A measurement methodology aligned with the concept of Balanced Scorecard (BSC) of Kaplan and Norton (1992) is proposed. The research includes a documentary study of a descriptive field, attended by managers of 4 companies for model validation. The result of applying the model enables us to diagnose the level of internal competitiveness of a group of companies and industry subject matter, allowing extensively being used in other industries.
