Popis:	Obstruction of a prosthetic valve is a severe complication and can result in congestive heart failure or cardiac shock. We present an extremely rare case of obstructed prosthetic aortic valve thrombosis of a pure pyrolytic carbon valve. The patient was successfully treated with complete surgical thrombectomy.
