Popis: | Multiple atrioventricular (A-V) nodal pathways are described in five dysrhythmia-free children with congenital heart defects. The five were some (2.9%) of 175 children who underwent diagnostic cardiac catheterization and electrophysiological evaluation over a three year period. Supraventricular tachycardia was not induced during the electrophysiological evaluation. Medical follow-up is recommended since multiple A-V nodal pathways have been demonstrated in adults with A-V nodal reentrant tachycardia. |
