Popis: | Multifocal long bones tuberculosis without articular involvement is very rare. Pain and swelling are the common presenting symptoms. Difficulties in diagnosis often lead to delayed treatment, sometimes with devastating consequences for patients. Radiographs may mimic other diseases. Histopathological study is necessary to establish the diagnosis. The antibacillary chemotherapy produces excellent results. We report a case of a 60-year-old woman afflicted with multifocal tibial tuberculosis. |
