Popis: | Choroidal neovascularization (CNV) is a rare but serious cause of visual impairment in children. The case report of a girl with a unilateral classical choroidal neovascular membrane has been presented. The differential diagnosis of possible etiology and the clinical course of this sight threatening condition during treatment have been documented. The similar cases in pediatric patients in foreign literature have been discussed. Current anti VEGF therapy is also available for pediatric patients and play a key role in improvement and stabilization of visual acuity in children with this disease. |
