Popis:	TORSION of ovarian cysts and tumors occurs often enough for most physicians to be well aware of this entity. That torsion of previously normal ovaries occurs is not so widely known. Because of its rarity, we consider it justified to report the cases of 5 children who were treated for torsion of previously normal adnexal structures at the Children's Hospital, Columbus, Ohio, in a ten-year period between May 1952 and 1962.
