Popis: IN a study of the pathways of incorporation of carbon-14 from labelled carbon dioxide into the amino-acids glycine and serine during photosynthesis the compound isonicotinyl hydrazide (isoniazid) was used. This compound has been shown to be an inhibitor of transaminases in vitro when used at high concentrations (about 10−2 M)1,2.
