Popis: Choerades amurensis (HERMANN 1914) is recorded from Poland for the first time. Four specimens (3 males and 1 female) were found in Bieszczady Mts. on two localities, one male specimen was collected in Lower Beskidy Mts. and one female specimen was reared from dead silver birch Betula pendula Roth from Białowieża Primeval Forest, being at the same time the first known breeding record. So far, these are the westernmost findings in its Palearctic range. The habitus of Ch. amurensis is illustrated and its expansion across Western Palearctic is discussed.
