Popis: | This paper proposes an active power control framework for a tidal turbine farm. The control framework is based on the solution of a linear programming problem that is built to satisfy the power demand while taking into account the maximum achievable power as well as the Grid Code constraints in the (active/reactive) power plan. An illustrative example involving a 50-turbines farm is proposed in order to show the relevance and efficiency of the proposed approach. |
