The current report reviews the literature on evaluation methods for exit programmes (or similar intervention programmes). After problematising on the importance of evaluation for intervention programmes, the report presents methods that can be used for the evaluation of these programmes. Multi-attribute evaluation, theory-based evaluation, contribution analysis, realist evaluation, and structural integrity assessment are presented as potentially useful evaluation methods for exit programmes. Options regarding evaluation design are presented. Different evaluation focus (i.e., impact, mechanism, process, economic) and instruments that can be used for the evaluation are also presented. The report ends with conclusions that can be relevant for the development of the evaluation framework. |
