Enhanced electrogenerated chemiluminescence of Ru(bpy)32+/TPrA system on CdS nanocrystals film

Popis: The effective enhancement of the electrogenerated chemiluminescence (ECL) of tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II) ( Ru ( bpy ) 3 2 + )/tripropylamine (TPrA) system was achieved on CdS nanocrystals film modified glassy carbon electrode (CdS NCs/GCE), which was mainly attributed to the more facile direct oxidation of TPrA on CdS NCs film. The ECL detection for Ru ( bpy ) 3 2 + with CdS NCs/GCE resulted in a detection limit of 2.8 × 10 −17 M ( S / N = 3), which may lead to more efficient immunoassay and DNA analysis based on Ru ( bpy ) 3 2 + ECL.
