Popis: | The global effect of the COVID-19 pandemic has been enormous, affecting a wide range of areas. People are changing their lifestyles and purchasing habits, as well as their whole point of view. Multiple supply networks were tested. When the pandemic occurred, numerous retailers were forced to shut their operations permanently. Consequently, a new and different viewpoint is being taken by consumers throughout the world when it comes to goods and businesses. Real-time changes in the consumer products market are being brought about by the pandemic, which is speeding up long-term patterns. The purpose of the research is to assess the changes and patterns that occur in consumer behavior, specifically among Filipino college students, as a result of the pandemic. The research used qualitative methodologies to analyze the attitudes of Filipino college students in different colleges concerning their behaviors and preferences as consumers during pandemic, based on their own personal experiences and opinions. With a total of fifteen participants, interviews and observations were undertaken. The participants' good and bad experiences with online shopping were investigated, as well as the factors that contributed to those encounters. The findings revealed that the Filipino college students' priorities have shifted to the most fundamental needs and the cost of the product, and that they are more reliant on online shopping apps to make their purchases. Product reviews and recommendations from family and friends were also discovered to be among the participants' considerations before making an online purchase. The results also show that the actual products were sometimes significantly different than advertised and delivery periods may be delayed. The data may be utilized to better understand and evaluate the actions and preferences of Filipino college students as consumers during the pandemic.
