Popis: | The paper presents the results of metallographic examination of a sleeve from a refrigeration system used in the food industry. On its outer surface, local surface changes were observed. Metallographic and microscopic SEM examinations were performed. It was found that the direct cause of their formation was the use ofspot welding to regenerate its inner surface. It led to plastic deformation of the external surface as well as the formation of a layer of oxides with wustite properties. |
