| Popis: | The simultaneous infection of the same cell with guanidine-sensitive and guanidine-dependent polioviruses permits the growth of both variants either in the presence or in the absence of guanidine. This phenomenon of rescue seems not due to an “exchange” of RNA polymerases but, more probably, to a different “affinity” of virus genomes for inhibitors. |
