| Popis: | Goats given thiourea had hypothyroidism in various degrees. There was reduction in weight gain and oedema of face and limbs. There was an increase in serum cholesterol which was highest in goats given the lowest dose of thiourea. Protein-bound iodine decreased sharply and there was an increase in plasma protein. |
