Popis: Dysfunctional Attitudes Scale for adolescents (DAS-J) - development and evaluation Background: Dysfunctional attitudes can be important to develope depression. Objective: The Dysfunctional Attitudes Scale captures dysfunctional attitudes. At the moment a German and an English version for adults and an english version for adolescents are available, but you cannot find such an instrument for adolescents in German. Methods: A standardised questionnaire to measure dysfunctional attitudes in adolescents (DAS-J) was generated and tested on 266 students (aged 13 - 18 years) together with 3 other instruments (CES-D, ILK, How I deal with stress). Results: Psychometric properties are comparable to the DAS and DAS-C and internal constancy is satisfactory. There are significant correlations with the CES-D and the Items of the ILK. Conclusion: Based on the results the DAS-J can be recommended for capturing dysfunctional attitudes in adolescents.
