| Popis: | Lesions of the TFCC may have degenerative or post-traumatic causes. Distal radioulnar joint as well as the ulnocarpal joint can be affected. Patients present with ulnar-sided wrist pain especially in forearm rotation. Therapy depends on the degree of lesions and additional pathology. Wrist arthroscopy offers a certain diagnostic tool. In addition, adequate therapy can be realized. After failed arthroscopic therapy, ulnar shortening osteotomy reduces ulnar load significantly. |
