Popis: American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) people experience significantly higher rates of substance use disorders (SUDs) than any other population in the United States. Additionally, there is an underutilization of treatment and poor treatment outcomes. The current study is a scoping review of research on substance use among AI/AN people within the National Institute on Drug Abuse’s (NIDA’s) Clinical Trials Network (CTN) and what has been learned about treatment, engagement, and outcomes.
