(A and B) The graphs compare beta-endorphin levels in the supernatant of oral SCC (HSC-3) cells re-expressing mu-opioid receptor and control oral SCC cells, with and without naloxone treatment. Cells transduced with Ad-OPRM1 at 200 MOI secreted an average of 400pg/ml beta-endorphin, which was significantly higher than non-transduced cells (*p < 0.05, One-way ANOVA, Holm-Sidak test).
