Popis: | Acute acalculous cholecystitis is usually seen in association with systemic medical illness, or after surgery, trauma or burn and is considered as a more severe disease than acute calculous cholecystitis. We recently had the opportunity of observing a patient who was admitted in a surgical emergency with clinical features of acute cholecystitis and was found to have Orientia tsutsugamushi infection after a strong clinical suspicion of acute tropical fever illness. |
