| Popis: | Dorisiana viridifemur (Walker, 1850) n. comb. Fidicinoides viridifemur (Walker, 1950): Sanborn et al. 2008 Fidicina viridifemur (Walker, 1850): Stål, 1862. Cicada viridifemur Walker, 1850 Notes. The two species listed above were transferred to Fidicinoides based on the size of the metascutellar plates, opening to the timbal chamber, shape of the cruciform elevation, and width of the head with respect to the pronotum (Sanborn et al. 2008). However, the species possesses three segmented tarsi and should therefore be classified in the subtribe Guyalnina following Boulard & Martinelli (1996). The shape of the timbal cover places the species in Dorisiana.
