Popis: | Background: Very low birth weight (VLBW) infants who are appropriate for gestational age (AGA) face the risk of extrauterine growth restriction (EUGR), which has been shown to cause adverse effects on neurodevelopmental outcomes. To avoid EUGR and negative neurodevelopmental outcomes, it is essential to focus on how practitioners initiate feeds, advance feeds, and increase calories for enteral feeds.
