Popis: | The transbuccal approach is a routine method for inserting screws for the application of bone plates. Like many other approaches in the oral and maxillofacial region, it is a blind method that carries some degree of morbidity. Transection of the facial artery is a possibility with this approach. We report a case of pseudoaneurysm after transbuccal insertion of a screw used in the fixation of a mandibular fracture. |
